|Twitter Inc said on Tuesday that user names and media attachments such as photos and videos will no longer count toward the length of a tweet but the 140-character limit will remain.
Twitter said the change Darron Lee Jets Jersey , part of its efforts to simplify its microblogging service, will happen in the next few months.
"A few simple changes to make conversations on Twitter easier! And no more removing characters for images or videos!" Chief Executive Jack Dorsey said in a 115-character tweet. (bit.ly1s78BmY)
Twitter's stock touched a record low at $13.72 on Tuesday, while investor sentiment around Twitter stock plunged on social media, according to Reuters data.
The length of tweets was originally designed to include a user's name and still fit within the 160-character SMS messaging format used for mobile phones.
Additional changes include the ability to retweet and quote-tweet a person's own posts.

Dorsey has said that the company, whose user growth has been stagnating, would simplify its product to attract new users.
Links currently take up to 23 characters of a tweet, limiting the commentary that users can offer when sharing articles or other content.
Many Twitter users took to social media to cheer the change.
"Finally Twitter is making changes to its 140 characters limit," wrote Hungry Panda (@KyaChalRahahain).
"Yes @twitter, that's what we're talking about!" tweeted Robbie Redfearn (@rredfearn32).
Although it is a sport that celebrates strength, grace, and flexibility among all others, gymnastics can also cause harm and injury to its practitioners if athletes are not fully trained and prepared in its execution. If you are an avid gymnast or just starting to learn about the sport, here are some valuable tips you could follow to keep yourself and others safe and injury-free.
First of all, make sure that you are strong enough to handle the moves that you are practicing. Build sufficient strength first to make it easier and safer to execute the skills you are trying to learn. If you are not strong enough, you won?t be able to do many gymnastics skills no matter how hard or how many times you try. As a matter of fact, building strength also makes you safer in potentially dangerous fall situations.
Next, pay attention to what is going on around you in the gym if there are other gymnasts around. If there are other gymnasts practicing, being aware and paying attention to everyone and everything is a requisite, otherwise you and everybody else will start bumping, crashing, and landing onto each other. You also need to listen carefully to your coach so you understand exactly what they expect of you to learn efficiently and keep yourself safe.
With that said, also know where the possible fall zones are, and avoid sitting or standing near them at all costs. There is still many a gymnast who, while waiting for their turn, doesn?t stay well enough out of the way of other gymnasts who need ample space for dismounting or a place to land. As a result, both athletes get injured. Also keep in mind that the floor needs your attention, too. Nothing is more embarrassing and sometimes dangerous than falling over mats, into pits, over bar cables, etc.
If you need or want some space for practice, don?t hesitate to ask for one. Don?t wait until it?s too late or right before you have to fall or dismount. In the same breath, when you?re the one approaching an area, you need to stop and look both ways before you cross or enter to make sure you are not in the way or going to get landed on. Make sure all equipment is set and sturdy before you begin to perform any skills on it. The handles and cables should be strong and tight enough to ensure your safety when you are on it. Don?t assume the equipment is correctly set and tight. Check it and make sure firstNever assume that the equipment has been already checked; you must check it yourself and make sure.
Gymnasts should only work out when there is at least one other person around. Gymnastics has its fair share of injury-prone moments; don?t become a statistic yourself. Work out only if there?s another person around to spot you, most preferably a professional coach or trainer. Spotting requires knowledge, strength and experience that only the professionals have. Asking other gymnasts to spot you could lead to errors in judgment that could result in serious injuries.
WELLINGTON, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- New Zealand's fuel industry is "cautiously optimistic" as the pipeline disruption situation continues to improve, Energy and Resources Minister Judith Collins said on Monday.
"With the pipeline successfully repaired, the first 2 million liter batch of jet fuel is on track to arrive at Auckland Airport late tonight, subject to necessary settling and testing," Collins said in a statement.
Planes are expected to be fuelled using this supply from the early hours of Tuesday morning, and another 5 million liters should be available through the pipeline from Wednesday, Collins said.
The disruption arising from the Marsden Point fuel pipeline outage started about two weeks ago, which resulted in jet fuel shortage lasting for 10 days in Auckland, the country's largest city, and a great number of cancelled flights.
The amount of fuel being trucked from Marsden Point refinery, about 140 km from central Auckland, to the Auckland Airport continues to increase, with 184,000 liters expected to be delivered on Monday, which is more than twice the amount delivered on Friday, she said.
More jet fuel should be available from Wednesday, with trucks transporting stocks stored at Wynyard Wharf in Auckland, the minister said, adding that the New Zealand Defense Force wi.
